Olson landscape architecture is a woman-owned consulting firm offering landscape architectural design services.   

Established in 2010, olson landscape architecture provides high-quality landscape architectural design for commercial, public and residential clients for a reasonable fee.   OLA consults with owners, property managers, architects, engineers, builders and contractors to develop unique design solutions through landscape renovations, enhancements and new project work.

Amy Olson, RLA, ASLA, Principal 

Amy graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and from the University of Illinois with a Masters of Fine Arts in Landscape Architecture. 

Amy is a registered Landscape Architect in the State of Illinois, a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), active in the local Illinois chapter, and CLARB certified (Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board).  Amy is an ISA-Certified Arborist.

  'I am passionate about landscape architecture and design--the interaction of people within spaces, how that space is defined, and how the impacts of materials, including plants affect a person's use of a space and their well-being.  My goal in professional practice is to inspire clients to get outside and enjoy nature through the design of their landscape by creating sustainable, beautiful and functional spaces that not only meet their needs but exceed their expectations.' - Amy

 Landscape Architecture is the art and science of designing public and private spaces which define the environmental, social and aesthetic relationships people (and other users) have with their environment.    Landscape architecture incorporates aspects of botany, arboriculture and horticulture, fine arts, architecture and industrial design, geology and the earth sciences including soil sciences, water management, environmental psychology, geography and ecology.
